From queen to servant

After 28 days of confinement with confinement lady, my fairytale ended. From a queen who didn't need to do any housework, I had came back to become the servant in the house.

It was a great 28 days of enjoying being served by someone except that I did grow sick of the food sometimes. Oh well, all is over!!! I actually stayed away from cold drinks and chili for a month! CL did cook a little spicy food for me, but there was really no kick. Her style of cooking is light. Everything has a light taste.

How's the first day without her? I must admit when she left, I almost cried. Then I started carrying and latching Raeanne all the way till hubby came home. I wonder if she wanted to latch because there was no one else around and she smells me, or there wasn't enough milk that's why she kept latching. Probably both. My supply seemed to be affected by the fever  2 nights ago. My breasts didn't feel full at all for the whole of today. Somehow, it felt weird. Yet, I was able to pump 80ml at 3am.

After pumping, she displayed hunger again. So I am actually latching while typing all these. Hope there is enough to last her for another 3h so that there's enough time for the milk to be refilled. And I hope she falls asleep after this.

Oh yes, I ordered some cakes for my colleagues in school. Amanda's daughter impressed me with a simple deco on the box cover.

Dear God,

Thank You for being with us all through the days. I am glad to be able to celebrate my 35th birthday with another bundle of joy. May You continue to bless my little ones and keep them strong and healthy. Help us be good parents and lead them in the ways of God. In Jesus' most precious name I pray, amen!
